This site is run by Matt Gobrecht. This policy explains what it collects, why, and what you can ask me to do about it.
What you send me. If you use the contact form, I receive your name, email address, the topic you picked, and your message. If you use the assistant, I receive whatever you type into it.
What is collected automatically. This site runs on Cloudflare's network, which keeps standard request logs for security and troubleshooting. Those can include your IP address, browser type, which pages you requested, and when.
What is not collected. There are no analytics, no advertising trackers, and no marketing pixels. I do not build visitor profiles and I do not track you across other sites. This site loads no third-party fonts or scripts.
Some galleries are password protected or shared by link. When you enter a password or open a share link, the site stores a signed cookie on your device recording which galleries you unlocked. It contains no personal information, and it expires after 12 hours.
Share links are random tokens. I can revoke one at any time, and most are created with an expiry date.
What you type goes to Anthropic. Your messages are sent to Anthropic's servers so their model can reply. Please do not type anything confidential into it.
The assistant only knows what is published. It is given the list of public galleries and nothing else. It cannot see private galleries, and it is not able to tell you whether one exists.
Conversations are stored. I keep the transcript, the date and time, and the country the request came from. I do not store your IP address with it. These expire automatically after 90 days.
Payment is handled by Stripe. Your card details go to Stripe and are never seen by this site.
Purchases are logged. For each order I keep what you bought, the amount, the email address you gave at checkout, and the IP address and country the order and each download came from. This is kept to prove delivery if a payment is disputed, and it expires about thirteen months after the order, which covers the longest card chargeback windows.
Digital downloads are final and cannot be refunded, because the files are delivered immediately.
That is the entire list. I do not sell your information and I do not share it with advertisers.
This site sets a cookie only when you unlock a private gallery, and one when I sign in to administer it. Both are strictly necessary for those features to work, contain no personal information, and are not used for tracking. There are no advertising or analytics cookies. You can clear them through your browser at any time, though doing so means re-entering any gallery password.
Some published photographs include people who happened to be in a public place. If you appear in an image here and would rather not, email me and I will remove it. You do not need to explain why.
You can ask what I hold about you, ask me to correct it, or ask me to delete it — a contact message, a chat transcript, or a photograph. Email matt@gobrecht.photos and I will get to it. Depending on where you live, your state or country may give you further rights, and I will honor valid requests made under them.
This site is not directed to children under 13 and I do not knowingly collect information from them. If you believe a child has sent me something, tell me and I will delete it.
Full-resolution images and archives are stored separately from anything the public site can reach, and access to them requires a password or a share link. No site is perfectly secure, so I cannot promise absolute security, but the separation is structural rather than a setting that can be toggled by mistake.
I will update this page if the site changes. The effective date at the top shows when it was last revised.
