Gobrecht Photography is a trading name of GMG Technology Solutions LLC, a Pennsylvania limited liability company. Where these terms say "we" or "us", they mean that company. Your contract is with the company.

Digital files. A license to download and use a photograph in the size stated at checkout, for your own personal, non-commercial use.
Prints. Physical prints and wall art made individually to order in the size, material and finish you choose.
We do not hold stock. Nothing is made until you order it.
Prices are in US dollars and include everything except any sales tax shown separately at checkout.
Payment is taken by Stripe. We never see or hold your card details.
Your order is accepted when payment completes and we send your order confirmation. Until then we may decline an order.
Where sales tax applies it is calculated and shown separately at checkout before you pay.
4.1 Your files are available immediately from a link on your order page, which is also sent to you by email.
4.2 Anyone holding that link can download the files. This is deliberate — it is what lets you buy on a phone and collect on a laptop. Treat the link as you would a receipt you would not want to lose.
4.3 Your download link stays available for approximately thirteen months from the date of your order. Download and keep your files; do not rely on the link as permanent storage.
4.4 We log each download, including the time and the network address it came from. This is described in our privacy policy.
4.5 Digital files are delivered in full at the moment of purchase and cannot be returned or refunded once an order is complete.
5.1 You may print it for yourself, display it in your home, and share it on personal social media.
5.2 You may not resell it, license it, use it commercially, or supply it to anyone else as a file.
5.3 Copyright in every photograph remains with the photographer. Buying a file buys a license to use it, not ownership of it.
5.4 If you want to use a photograph commercially — in advertising, in a product, or anywhere you are paid for the result — email us. Commercial use is available under a separate license, and the price depends on the use. We would rather be asked than not.
6.1 Prints are produced by a third-party printing partner and shipped directly to you.
6.2 Production takes different lengths of time by material. The time for your chosen material is shown before you buy and again on your order confirmation.
6.3 The delivery estimate shown at checkout is production time plus carrier transit. It is an estimate and not a guarantee.
6.4 Standard shipping is included in the price for delivery within the United States. Faster shipping is offered at checkout at the additional cost charged by the carrier.
6.5 We ship to United States addresses only.
6.6 Risk in a print passes to you on delivery.
7.1 Each print is produced individually to order and cannot be returned or exchanged for change of mind.
7.2 If a print arrives damaged or with a manufacturing defect, reply to your order confirmation with photographs of the print and its packaging within 7 days of delivery, and Gobrecht Photography will arrange a replacement at no cost to you.
7.3 We ask for photographs of both the print and its packaging because they tell us and our printing partner whether the damage happened in transit or in production.
7.4 Where a replacement is not possible we will refund you instead.
7.5 If your order arrives and something is wrong that these terms do not cover, email us anyway. We would rather hear about it.
8.1 Prints are cropped to the shape you select. Where the photograph and the print are different shapes, the crop is shown to you before you buy, and that is what is printed.
8.2 Screens vary. Color on a printed product will not match your screen exactly, and a difference in color is not a defect.
8.3 We do not offer prints at sizes the photograph cannot support. Where a size is not offered for a photograph, that is why.
9.1 Some published photographs include people who happened to be in a public place. If you appear in a photograph on this site and would rather not, email us and we will remove it. You do not need to explain why.
9.2 You may not use a photograph bought from us in a way that suggests a person in it endorses anything.
10.1 If an order fails, is charged twice, or is not delivered, email us and we will put it right.
10.2 Our total liability to you for any order is limited to the amount you paid for that order.
10.3 We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for loss of profit, arising from an order.
10.4 Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot lawfully be limited, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud. Some states do not allow certain limitations, so parts of Clauses 10.2 and 10.3 may not apply to you.
The assistant on this site can answer questions about galleries and products. It can be wrong. Prices, sizes and availability shown at checkout are what govern, not anything the assistant says.
You are asked to accept these terms at checkout, before payment is taken. If you do not accept them, the payment cannot be completed and no order is placed. Your acceptance is recorded against your order.

14.1 These terms, your order confirmation and our privacy policy are the whole agreement between us for your order.
14.2 We may change these terms. The version in force when you order is the one that applies to that order.
14.3 These terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
